Sooners Obliterate Maryland Eastern Shore

Cade Davis scored 19 points as OU (9-5) coasted to a 88-54 over the Hawks (3-10). Maryland E.S. was completely over-matched in talent and athleticism and never threatened as Davis scored the game's first 7 points. The Sooners had a comfortable 47-29 lead at half, and rolled easily the rest of the way. OU forced 18 turnovers and only gave the ball away 7 times.

Willie Warren scored 15 for OU as well as 5 assists. Both Tony Crocker and Tiny Gallon grabbed 12 boards, and each scored 14 and 13 points, respectively. Tommy Mason-Griffin struggled shooting, finishing 2-7 for 5 points, but excelled at the point, handing out 7 assists to no turnovers.

The Hawks were led by Sean Berry, who had a double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds. Kevin White had 14 points along with 8 of his team's 9 assists.

The Sooners took advantage of their final tuneup before conference play, which they begin on the 9th when they head to Waco, TX to take on an 11-1 Baylor squad. The game tips-off at 5:00 CST.
